I’d like to contribute the following on Miles City: can you turn down the heat for next year???? Thank you to everyone involved with the show.

Thanks for running speed events on Sun am; for future shows, can the owners of the horse also be announced if they are different than who is showing the horse; really like the info posted on the Baker show and it would have been great to have it for the MC show, especially the fairly strict rules on fairgrounds use (no portable pens allowed, must check in with groundskeeper, etc.)

It was great that it was very clear what patterns were for what days and the diagrams were really well done. Finally, I would like to put forward the notion that having such a difficult trail pattern for the “lower level” participants (green horse, jr horse, youth) may have discouraged participation and I don’t think that is our goal. I have absolutely no problem with challenging patterns but not discouraging patterns. I was really looking forward to using a green horse in trail but honestly couldn’t bring myself to challenge him that much. But I really did appreciate all the hard work that the folks who put together the course.

For what its worth, I think it would be great to have the entire list of winners posted – perhaps as a PDF so easy download – after each show. That would be just great to for anyone who would like to send the results to their local media.
